Maha Shivratri
Maha Shivaratri Celebration: One of the largest and most significant among the sacred festivals of India is Mahashivaratri. On 26th February 2025 this auspicious event was observed in a befitting manner. Morning Puja was performed at the Viveknagar Campus. After the Evening Arati, the Shiva Puja commenced at the City Centre. The main attraction was the Shiva Dance. This very event could draw attention of hundreds of devotees. Ensuing the Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math tradition, Shiva Dance was performed, which was the source of heartfelt enthusiasm and appreciations from all the devotes attended. On Completion of Shodosha Pochar Puja offered to Lord Shiva, followed by the offerings of the Cooked Food, amidst the Shiva Dance, the Arati was performed. This event was followed by the Abhishek to Lord Shiva by the monastics and the devotees present. Cooked Prasad (Sabudana Khichdi) was served among 500 devotees.
